Losing Focus??

Well I haven't posted in a while because it has been absolutely crazy busy at work which is a good thing. I have been so busy with all the great deals in the Kia lineup right now that :
1.) I haven't had time to eat properly.
2.) I have been selling a lot a cars which means I have been able to eat out more.
On top of all that, I have had my ten year wedding anniversary, valentines day and my wifes birthday. Not that I need an excuse to not eat right but those are some good ones if you ask me. Looking at my checking account, heres what I have done thats probably not going to make weigh in day a good one:
2/22 bahama breeze, 2/21 cabanas, 2/20 beach club bistro, 2/20 concord beverage, 2/18 cabanas, 2/18 world wines,2/15 don tequila mentor and 2/15 world wines. Looks to me like I have gotten off the beaten path as of late. I did really good with portion control, not so much with the booze. We'll see what Saturday brings.
Thanks,

Starting to see results

Okay well i've been doing a really good job on limiting the calories I eat everyday. My target is 1500 calories a day and I have been really good about that. My average day consists of a bowl of oatmeal and a banana around 9:30 every day. At around noon I eat an apple and then at lunch, around 2 I either go home and have a turkey pastrami sandwich with deli thin bread or go to Subway and have a 6 inch ham on wheat with provolone, lettuce, black olives, salt and pepper and yellow mustard. At 4 I have 1/4 cup of almonds. Then I have a light dinner (usually around a third of what I used to eat) around 6 and that's it. On Thursday I was shocked when I went to put on my belt and noticed that I lost a belt loop. I wasn't prepared for that this early in the contest. I told my wife immediately and everyone at work as well. I broke down and weighed myself on Sunday and according to my WII fit (which I have used only to weigh myself on ) I weighed 236. Friday night I had a tiny bottle of grey goose with only water and ice and on Sunday night I had some white wine. I feel great. I have not done any exercising yet, but I think I will plateau out soon and have to start exercising to continue to lose weight. No alchohol for me Monday thru Wednesday this week.

The day after

First off, MGD 55 sucks. It's not worth it. Other than that, I did pretty good on Super Bowl Sunday. I had a couple of small bowls of turkey chili, one chicken wing (that's right one), probably too much cheese (it was a Packers game after all) celery and carots. I hated the beer so much I only had three which is why I probably feel better on the Monday after the Superbowl than I ever have. Now it's back to the 1600 a day calorie intake that I have done for 7 of the first nine days of the contest.

Super Bowl Sunday

Well this is probably going to be the most difficult day for me in this entire contest. My favorite thing to do is eat, drink and watch football. The first week hasn't really been that difficult. I think I have done a really good job and am going to reward myself today and splurge a little bit. One of my customers that purchased a Soul from me gave me some really good advice. She said that instead of beer she tried to have only white wine or vodka to save on calories, but would invariably drink too much and have a headache the next day. So she said she had luck with MGD 55. So MGD 55 today it is.
