Saw this coming

Well I did my usual weigh in on my Wii Fit on Sunday and I did not lose any weight last week. Kinda saw this coming with my carousing on Friday and a couple of other so so days. Lack of exercise is probably the reason as well. Its been hard for me to find the time to commit to a regular exercise routine. On Sunday I did play outside with Otto and Keegan for about three hours. After that I took Otto and my next door neighbor Paul to the driving range to hit some golf balls. I did hit the ball really well for my first practice session of the year (if you could count hitting balls with a four year old and a middle schooler as a practice session). I wonder if my 25 less pounds on my belly (I'm pretty sure that's where most of my weight has been lost) is the reason I hit it so well. I need to change my sleep cycle so instead of going to bed around 11:30 and waking up at 7:30, I switch to bed at 10 or 10:30 and wake up at 6 or 6:30 and hit the treadmill every morning because I don't think I could work a consistent routine any other time. It's kinda hard when on Monday and Thursday we are open until 9, which means I don't leave work until 9:30 most of the time. By the time I get wound down and ready to sleep it's at least 11:30 or midnight. I know I need to quit whining and get er done. Til next time.

Bad day but a good one

Ok well I had my first throw in the towel who cares day yesterday. It started with me going to a training seminar for Kia and walking into a room full of pastry's, donut's and croissant's. I did good there, I brought a banana and had a halve of a croissant. For lunch they wheeled in pasta and salad. Again, did good there, had a salad and about 5 ounces of pasta. Then the training seminar ended early and all hell broke loose. I carpooled with a couple other salesmen here and the basketball tournament was going on, so what do you do with free time on your hands. You go to the bar of course. I threw caution to the wind. Six beers and half of an appetizer platter and half an order of green bean fries (which are fabulous by the way) later I was feeling fat. It was fun though. We'll see how that affects me when I weigh in on Sunday. Back to the grind.

Getting lucky

OK well I haven't posted in a while. I've been super busy. I still haven't really been working out. I have continued to eat pretty good and I've probably been drinking more than I intended. So when I got on the scale this morning I was anticipating not losing any weight at all. Much to my surprise I weighed 226. Unbeleivable. I probably frustrated my wife because she hasn't been losing the weight I have. I can't believe I have lost 23 pounds without much effort. Oatmeal and a banana for breakfast and a 6 inch Subway sandwich for lunch has pretty much been the routine. We have big plates and small plates at home and I pretty much eat the same stuff for dinner only limiting it to the small plate for portion control. I feel so much better than when I was eating primarily fast food all the time. I also lost another notch on my belt. Still looking for the plateau to happen and to have to start to work at it. Luckily it will warm up outside soon and then Otto will be wearing me out playing outside. Til next time be good.

The Wall

Okay, well I weighed in on Saturday and did pretty good. I think it was somewhere around 16 lbs lost, which was ok. But that was where I left off after 3 weeks, so it is time to hit the treadmill. We just finished another banner month here at Mentor Kia. We finished first in the area, number two in the district and eigth in the country with 121 new Kia's sold. I was good for 24 of them. The auto show is running and business is starting off strong all ready this month. The auto show bonus money is good thru the end of the month, so come see me and I will get you hooked up on the best value in the car business right now. A new Kia from Mentor Kia.
